Creator Setup

TikTok handle and account type, the agency application that gets you live access, Instagram, Discord, Whop and payouts. One evening's work, plus one thing with a waiting period that you should start on day one.

Live Setup

OBS, the SMC scene and overlay, your camera and TradingView, then getting the picture to TikTok. Every screenshot, every setting. About 30 minutes the first time and you never do it again.

The one thing with a clock on it

Step 3 of Creator Setup is applying to Atomik, the creator network. It's what lets you go live without 1,000 followers, and it's the only step here you can't do in an evening.

Approval takes about a day. Your stream key takes about ten. Apply on day one, then carry on with everything else while you wait.

Roughly how it goes.

So you know what's normal and what isn't.

  • Day 1Handle, bio and profile picture. Switch TikTok to a Business account so you get a link. Apply to Atomik and join their Discord. Make Instagram. Set up Whop and payouts.
  • Day 2Atomik approves you and LIVE unlocks, even with no followers. Build your OBS scene from the Live Setup guide and do a five-minute test stream.
  • Day 2-3Send Ryland your pages. Once they're checked you get your link, your rate, the Creator role and your overlay.
  • Week 1Three to five posts up on both apps. Start going live. Link in both bios.
  • ~Day 10Your stream key arrives. Switch OBS to stream direct and drop TikTok LIVE Studio entirely.
  • At 1,000Switch TikTok back to a Personal account. You keep the link and get the full sound library back.
